Looking back at PETRONAS’ journey thus far, each decade was marked by its own triumphant accomplishments and arduous challenges. Yet in every step and at every juncture along the way, we were presented with opportunities to build this into a more resilient and progressive organisation.

As you weathered these ups and downs alongside this sacred institution that we continue to safeguard and serve, I hope that your own milestones are reminiscent of the progress that you have made as individuals, be it in building your capabilities, bolstering your knowledge or broadening your horizons.

In all the years that you have delivered innumerable contributions to PETRONAS, I sincerely pray that you have also found it a worthwhile journey filled with growth and development. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of the Almighty, today, PETRONAS has built up a reputation for being a trusted and respected global energy and solutions provider with a growing presence across continents. Even as the entire ecosystem continues to evolve with much uncertainty, this organisation remains determined to faithfully discharge our amanah to the nation as well as reliably serve the communities, customers and partners we have collaborated with both at home and abroad.

We are only able to do so – and we are only able to continue doing so – because of the collective dedication and perseverance that each and every one of you has demonstrated over the years.

Thus, at this year’s Majlis Sekalung Budi, we are privileged to honour all the recipients from across the globe – individuals whose firm commitment to PETRONAS’ timeless Shared Values of Loyalty, Integrity, Professionalism and Cohesiveness have formed the foundation that we currently stand on.

From those of you who spent much of your lives contending with the elements offshore, to those who tirelessly slogged to ensure safe and reliable operations at our facilities, and also to those who were at the frontlines engaging daily to meet the expectations of our multi-faceted stakeholders, each one of you have made an indelible mark in PETRONAS’ journey.

All of you have played a role in shaping PETRONAS into what it is today.

Some of you will continue walking alongside PETRONAS as we work to accelerate our evolution and deliver greater impact. Others will embark on new and exciting adventures in much-deserved retirement. No matter which stage you find yourselves in, I hope that as we commemorate our shared journey together, you will also feel immense pride and fulfilment in the achievements that you have attained.

You have given PETRONAS more than your years. You’ve shared your trust, your ideas, your energy. You’ve helped shape our culture, held the line through challenges, and contributed to our growth into a global energy player and now shaping a lower-carbon future.

In a year where we continue rebalancing for long-term sustainability, your presence and contributions carry even deeper meaning. You remind us that transformation isn’t powered by ambition alone, but by purpose, perseverance, and people who believe in the journey.

This year, we honour over 3,200 individuals whose service spans 15 years and beyond, including those entering retirement. Each milestone carries a personal legacy, of commitment, growth, and impact that is etched into the PETRONAS story.
